Theme: Ongoing Time Travel
Today I offer some ongoing Star Wars fics. Specifically, some ongoing Star Wars fics that involve Time Travel. That’s right! We’re fixing things! Or messing them up worse! Regardless, change is in the air. Arranged more or less in order of how far back things go.
Two months before Jaster’s death, he finds three lost ade at the markets of Little Keldabe: a wayward padawan and two ade who look remarkably like his own son Jango. I’ve really been enjoying the interactions and unraveling of this story so far! There’s even some twists which I won’t spoil but are exciting to see. I love seeing Jaster and company confronted with the future and this is a fun example!
Jango Fett expected several things from this hunt on Galidraan. Three hypothermic Jedi children stumbling into his camp was not one of those things. The first story is complete but the series isn’t so it counts! I love the worldbuilding going on here, there’s some genuine dedication to aliens being a little weird and making sure cultural nuances are considered. It’s also genuinely really funny in places!
10 years after sacrificing himself for the Rebellion, Ezra Bridger is offered the chance to turn back the clock and alter the course of history forever… I’ll admit I’m a bit behind on this one but it’s been on my mind lately so… another shout out to worldbuilding! The fusion of elements from different sources and levels of canon is really interesting. This fic also boasts a pretty large cast and avoids losing anyone in the shuffle, a difficult thing. The relationships between characters are complex and multilayered and interesting, I’ve especially enjoyed Ezra and Anakin’s relationship.
